netbackup failing with status 6 for oracle RMAN backup (fails after taking backup of the database and some archive)

Hi,

I have policy to take the oracle backup using RMAN created by DBA. The backup fails with status 6 after successful completion of the default-application-backup schedule (database and some archieve). I am attaching the progress log contents for reference (master server OS = solaris 10 with netbackup 6.5, Client OS=solaris 10 with Oracle 11i)

This is very urgent to solve , Any help would be highly appreciated

Could you copy here your rman script and policy configuration ?

Check these.

1. did you perform oracle_link script or libobk.so linked?

2. Is NB_ORA_SCHED parameter (in rman script or oracle template)  Default-Application-Backup?

3. let's confirm clientname, such as bp.conf, client name in the policy, and rman script(or template).

have you checked rman logs. what rman status codes are saying.....
