I have instaleed netbackup 6.5 in windows 2k3 server.when i ren the java consle i am getting the error so i am unable to find the auth.conf file also,please advice me

Does your error look like this:
"No entry in auth.conf  "             ????

If you need to check the auth.conf entries then have a look at the Admin Guide (pp647-655) which covers restricting access & authorisation etc

e.g:

To restrict access to one or more of the NetBackup-Java applications, create the following file on the Windows system:
    nbjava_install_path\java\auth.conf
Add an entry in auth.conf for each user that accesses NetBackup-Java applications. The existence of this file, along with the entries it contains, prohibits unlisted users from accessing NetBackup-Java applications on the Windows system. The following is a sample auth.conf file on a Windows system:
    mydomain\Administrator ADMIN=ALL JBP=ALL
    mydomain\joe ADMIN=ALL JBP=ALL
    * ADMIN=JBP JBP=ENDUSER+BU+ARC
