option for addding tape drive

hi

we have scsi tape library with 2 tape drives .for second tape what is option /agent required ?

 i see SSO but my undestandubg is it is user for SAN .please provide suggestion

You do not need any option/agent to add second drive as long as your Base NetBackup license is good for a robotic tape library.

SSO stands for shared storage options. You will need this license if you want to connect same tape drive to multiple media servers and to share it across these media servers.

is there different license for robotic tape  library or base pack with 20 license include it. we will be using both drives of tape library.

you need to have a license for every tape drive you use.  you have 2 tape dives you need license for 2 tape drives.
