Hello,

two comments:

- which type of policy performed the backup? It is "Standard policy restore error", however the client is apparently Windows and should be backed-up with MS-Windows policy type

- looks like redirected restore to client dc0f428e11. Is NetBackup client on this server installed and running? Because the core message is "socket write error" so missing client could be the cause

You will need logs to troubleshoot...

This is what I see the log:
Media server and client is the same, right?

restore from server dc0f428e11 to client dc0f428e11

Restore seems to have started at 12:51 and was running fine with a number of files restored up to 13:06, right?
At this point, the restore failed with

socket write failed

Since the server and client is the same machine, it could be a timeout.

These logs are needed to troubleshoot :
bpbrm
bptm
bpbkar

If these folders do not exist, create them under netbackup\logs.
Use Host Properties to change logging level to 3.
Restart the restore.

If it fails again, please copy the logs to .txt files (e.g. bpbrm.txt) and upload here.

Have had this error, in that case a service/process had lock on a file in the restore path.

It seems it is windows files you are restoring, so wonder why you get a standard policy error.

Stupid question, is there space left on E: on the restore client ?

The standard questions: Have you checked: 1) What has changed. 2) The manual 3) If there are any tech notes or VOX posts regarding the issue
