NBU Backup, Archive, and Restore Getting Started Guide http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC3642
You need firstly check correct spelling of Client name and the policy type for the client(s) that you need to restore.
You will need to specify Client name, Policy Type and a date range.
Check in Policy for type and correct spelling of Client name, including case.
CLIENT1 != client1 != client1.fqdn
Source client name must be specified exactly the same as in the Policy that was used to backup client data.
If you need to restore data backed up with a database agent, find the relevant manual for the agent and read through the restore section. Work with the dba.
You can find links to all NBU manuals in 'Handy NBU Links' in my signature.
