status code 13, and boots from ssh session

Hi all,

I am having a problem with one of my back ups.  I'm simply backing up a directory on a web server - however about half way through, I get read errors with status code 13.  

Also, when I am ssh'ed into the netbackup server, after about  10 minutes or so I am booted from the box.  And then I cannot ssh back into the box until I manually walk over to the server terminal and issue a few keystrokes.  Sounds strange doesn't it?  

These two issues could be completely unrelated, however it also could be.  I suspect that during the backup some network issue may be cutting the backup as well.  Do you think I may have some issue with the nic?

your ssh problem is an OS or install/config problem with ssh, maybe the daemon gets hosed or something, check the messages logs about code 13 check your network, dns, routes and everything that connects your master, media and client, this points more to a net config problem, also check if your client is not 10half/duplex it can generate a lot of socket issues.
