unable to restore archives

Envirnment Details:

OS:- Windows Server 2003 R2

Netbackup Version:- 7.0.1

Issue:- not able to restore the data error:- the catalog image .f file has been archived.

to restore the archived files we have tried with the command

bpcatlist -client <client_name> -before Jan 1 2000 | bpcatres

What would be the possible reasons, pls help.

actually result in anything?

Is the archived .f restored?

 

Not actually tried the catalog archiving "utility" so not sure of the "shortcuts" you can used for the options - is the date you've specified adequate (i.e. Jan 1 2000)? The only reason I ask is that the man page examples all show a ctime format of Fri Sep 13 00:00:00 2004 with only the year being "optional" (If no year is specified, bpcatlist uses the current year by default.)
