See my post where I explain how to install Linux/Unix binaries on the master server before you install 7.5.0.5:

Once the client binaries are installed and patched on the master server, you can push them to the clients with update_clients.
All covered in NBU Installation Guide.
As a matter of interest - patch installation method on NBU server is covered in the URL where you download the patches from.
In all honesty, it does not really matter which patch you select first. Just ensure that they are extracted in the same directory.
If you select the server patch first, you will see a message that Client patch is needed as well, the script will then proceed to install client patch first and then the server patch.

Correct, you untar the client patch and server patch into the same dir. Then run the upgrade script. You then enter the name of the client patch (it is shown), this will then install both patches, job done.
