upgrade Opscenter 7.1.0.3 to 7.5.0.3

Dear All,

i need to upgrade my opscenter 7.1.0.3 to 7.5.0.x under windows 2008 R2 64bit, but i have netbackup 7.1.

Is that possible to upgrade.

It's possible . Prior to NetBackup master server up-gradation perform OPs center upgradation.

Make sure you have backup of opscenter database

Disable data collection prior to starting upgrade.

When doing the upgrade, you have to upgrade to 7.5 first.

Do not start the opscenter services after the upgrade of 7.5, but continue to upgrade to 7.5.0.3.

Depending on your database size, it does take a while for the initial upgrade to complete so be patient.

The upgrade to 7.5.0.3 is much quicker after that.

   As speedfreak noted - disable data collection prior to upgrade.

If you have Capacity Based License, and want a Capacity Based Report of your environment, you MUST install the agent of 7.5.0.3 on your master server to generate this report - it fails if you dont install the agent.
