disk group is in disabled state

hi can anyone plz help me, one of the disk group is showing disabled state and all the disks under this disk group showing online dgdisabled state.
when ever i execute #vxdg list <dgname>  the command getting hung and vxdctl mode  is coming to not running state.

please help me how to bring the dg to enable state, the server is in cluster.

hi,

first try to deport and import see if that fixes your problem.  If not, then check file system /var if it is filled up.

If so, file /var/vxvm/tempdb/<dbname> might get corrupted. 

clean up /var file system, then after make sure no any DGs are imported, fire the below command

vxdctl stop
vxconfigd -x cleartempdir
