I am currently trying to install VSF for Oracle RAC on HP-UX 11.23 on PA-RISC, I have successfully installed the VSF for Oracle RAC. When I start the installation of Oracle 10G clusterware, everything goes fine upto the point where I have to run the root.sh to start the cssd. Just before running root.sh, we have to run a init.cssd.patch, where i think i get an error.
patch < init.cssd.patch init.cssd

since this patch is failing, the init.cssd thinks I have HP/Serviceguard and not Veritas Cluster. The syslog shows that it is waiting for Service guard to start. I am having ocr and vote disk on CFS.
Can someone tell me why is init.cssd.patch not able to patch the init.cssd?
