BESR 6.5 can I save my drive or part. to an external drive via esata connection?

NEXT QUESTION about my Desktop, I have my external drive hooked up via an ESATA cable and wish to back up my raid array OS, that is partition C:\ to my ext drive.

PLease tell me I will have no problem with restoring the backup using an external harddrive in this manner.

To test it out, try booting to the recovery environment and browsing the contents of the external drive.

RIGHT, this was dumb question, i ran validation utility and found out i needed to include the raid driver at least. After doing that things options seem to be available. thanks

After adding the drivers to a custom built CD were you able to see your RAID array? Does the images made of your C drive open & verify successfully in the recovery point browser?
