BESR 7.01 update pack does not update BESR Manager 7.00 ?

I notice that the update pack does not update the Manager software allthough it is stated in the announcement on this forum.

When executing the 7.01 package, it does not seem to check for the Manager 7.00 files.

For BESR Manager: any update procedure available ?

By the way, we still are waiting for the change log of 7.01

BESR 7.01 and BESRM 7.01 would be separate ISO's or CD's.  Were you able to obtain the BESRM 7.01 package in addition to the BESR 7.01 package?

I have received a link with the BESRM 7.01 update. This indeed is a separate package which has to be applied.

Total aside and likely a dumb question: what is BESRM?  I see no item in the Symatec product list named BESR Manager.

Hello,

BESR Manager is a one-to-many management console that can be purchased to manage multiple servers/desktops/laptops running Backup Exec System Recovery from a central location.

The "standard" console that comes with BESR can be used to manage other systems running BESR, but only on a one-at-a-time basis.
