BESR VBscript to set SMTP notify settings

Can anyone please post something that they have used successfully?

We are already deployed (6.5.2) without the flexibility to upgrade in the short term.

The documentation calls out a a method in ProtectorAuto, for setting a notification property, but there isn't enough info to go on.

I'd appreciate seeing: object(s), property(s), and method(s), to just set one setting (or more if it's there already).

Could I convince either you to post a basic example of what you used?  I've found the related object, method and properties using the Visual C object browser, but I would have a much better time if I had an example to start with.
