Backup MOSS 2007 in x64 2008 environment

I'm just wondering, does BESRO 8.5 support in backing up

WIndows Server 2008 x64 + SQL Server 2008 x64 and MOSS 2007 SP1 ?

Yes. In the advanced options for the backup, make sure that "Perform Full VSS Backup" is selected in order to ensure the integrity of the Databases (this will also truncate your logs).

sounds good, does BESRO 8.5 can be installed in SQL Server 2008 rather than installing it on another DB instance (2005, Express, etc.)

BESRO does not require a database. BEWS does, and allows you to install the database into an existing instance of SQL Server.
