Can i back up AC with Symantec Backup Exec system recovery 7

Dear everybody,
 
I am new on this forum, so excuse me if i post a message in the wrong place on this forum.
 
I have a question regarding Symantec Backup Exec system recovery 7 for server.
 
Is it possible to back up the active directory of an windows 2003 domain controller as well backup exchange. If the answer is yes can somebody explain me how i have to prepaire a back up and restore the back up.
 
If the answer is no can anyone tell me what kind of Symantec product i must use for safely backup the full system (including AC and exchange)

Yes, it is possible to backup Windows 2003 DC/AD plus Exchange.
 
When using BESR 7.0.x or higher on a Windows 2003 Server with Exchange 2003, it is not necessary to do anything special to prepare for the backup.
It is recommended to include all related drives in the same Backup Job.  Example: C drive has Exchange install, D drive has DataStore, and E drive has Transaction Logs.  Backup Job would want to be set to backup up C, D, and E with the same job schedule.
