Problem on Livestate Recovery Advanced Server 6.0 and Windows 2003 server 64bit

Hello,

we have installed LVS 6.0 in a HP Proliant ML350 with Windows server 2003 64bit + Exchange Server 2007
When the system is up on event viewer there are 2 error:

First: \systemRoot\SysWow64\GEARAspiWDM.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.

Second: \SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\V2IMount.SYS has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.

The first error we fixed by load the Gear update driver package "Driver_Installer_AMD64_EM64T.exe" and on event viewer don't see anymore error.

The second error we haven't yet fixed.

When we try to create a disk image we get following error from LVS event:

"Descrizione: Errore EC8F17B7: Impossibile creare i punti di ripristino per il processo: Punto di ripristino di D:\, C:\. Errore EC8F03EA: Impossibile creare un'immagine di volume virtuale dell'unità selezionata. Errore E0BB0147: L'operazione 'Allinea volume' non è attualmente abilitata per questo Volume.
Dettagli: 0xE0BB0147"

Can I try to turn DEP OFF (data execution prevention) for V2IMount.SYS and than try see if this driver loading and then make a disk image or Is there any updated version of V2IMount.SYS compatible with 64bit O/S?

Please can you help me?

Thanks.

Roberto

Roberto,

LiveState Recovery (LSR) 6.0.x is an aged product.  The upgrade to LSR is Backup Exec System Recovery (BESR) 6.5.x > 7.0.x > 8.0.x.

LSR 6.0x was not supported with 64bit Hardware / Windows.  BESR 7.0 is the first version to be supported with 64bit.  However, BESR 7.0 is not supported with Exchange 2007.  BESR 8.0.x is the version supported with 64bit and Exchange 2007.

Cheers,
Rich L
