Cannot set offsite location with Manager 8.0

We have installed BASER Server 8.1 on 4 servers (all 2003 SP), on 1 server we have installed the granular and management options.

When I set up a job in the manager I do not have the option for offsite copy like when I set up locally.  Worse than that if I set up the offsite copy locally, then view the server (I do not even have to view or edit the job) the offsite details are lost.

Help?!!

I am having this same problem. Just called Sym support and was told the manager does not support offsite copy. Does not make a whole lot of sense to not include this feature in the manager.

Bit of an understatement!!!  Why create a manager product (that we have to pay extra for) that canot manage the software fully????  Talk about paying to reduce the functionality!  Can someone from Symantec comment?

I was told yesterday by support that the manager does not support offsite, I was kind of shocked at this.

BESR 8.5x supports now in creating Offsite locations from within the Manager's console.
