Creating SRD from Scratch

Hi all,

How can i create the SRD for HP DL 580 server from Scratch. I have installed Symantec Manager 8.5 but when i try to create recovery disk it ask from "Source Recovery Disk" which i do not have for HP servers.

I will be highly grateful for help and support

You can download the standard SRD from Fileconnect at https://fileconnect.symantec.com/ Make sure to download one of the files marked "srd_only" in the title. This file downloads as an ISO image and can be burned to CD/DVD using any standard disk burning software.

I've downloaded them all and can't find any of the SRD ISO's that are bootable.  What gives here?

ok, I found where the multilingual_SrdOnly ISO is bootable into the SRD recovery console.  Didn't "look" like it was bootable by the ISO contects but it is.  Cool.  Problem resolved.

Are there any others on this thread having issues from the ISO's downloaded from fileconnect that are not booting properly?
