I installed Backup Exec System Recovery 2010(version 9.0.2.37914) on an Exchange 2010 Server. I'm able to make backups but when trying to restore Exchange content I'm running into problems. when I open de Granual Restore option program and point to my Recovery Point, I'm able to view all mailboxes on the exchange server, viewing all the messages that are inside those mailboxes. When trying to recover a Mailbox or folder (-> to pst) or a mail (-> to .msg) I get the error "RESTORE FAILED". Viewing in het log file that's created under the console\Win64 folder I see that the software is trying to copy a file exosal.dll from the Backup image :
[6980] 03/31/11 14:33:10 Jet: Copy file failed for F:\Exchange\bin\exosal.dll. 0x2, The system cannot find the file specified.
This file is not present on my Exchange 2010 installation. Is this the reason why nothing is happening ?
Also when I right click on a message and say "View in Outlook" nothing is happening. When choosing Forward a new mail is opened with subject Email restore request but the requested mail is not attached to this new mail.
I presume all of this is related to the same problem ?
Does someone have a solution ??

OK, that it what I thought.
BESR 2010 does not currently support SP1 for Exchange 2010 so you are going to have to upgrade to SSR 2011 which does support it. Please refer to the SCLs below for more information:
