How do i update vmdk files using backup exec system recovery?

i have recently used backup exec system recovery 8 to create a set of VMDK files for use in a vmware server virtual machine.

i would like to update the vmdk files i have created using backup exec system recovery.

is this possible and how can i do this if it is?

The only way to do this is to re-create them, new P2V or start them up in VMware and upate the OS.
