We have many server licenses for SSR. Recently we installed SSR Mgmt Solution. SSR on the Servers and mgmt solution is latest version (2011) and build (41704).
One of the servers keeps popping up a Symantec error window (license could not be installed).
The license is being pushed to this server just like it is to 4 others (license is for 6 servers).
If I remote desktop to the server and try to enter the license by hand, it seems to accept it, but then the license disappears and the popups begin. The server IS getting policies pushed from SSR Management Solution (like the backup settings).
This server happens to be a domain controller, but another server that is a domain controller does not have this problem.
Any suggestions? I don't want my SSR to inactivate in 60 days.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Try to stop the SSR and the Symantec Management Agent service, then delete the following registry keys and afterwards restart the 2 services:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec System Recovery\10.0]
"O"
"AK"
"LO"
"MLO"

OK. I will try this.
Thank you very much.
