Hello,

A new version of SSR 2011 is available on Fileconnect - v10.0.1.41704, However I cannot find any documentation regarding this release - new features, bug fixes, upgrade paths, etc.

Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

Do you know if SP1 is or will be available via LiveUpdate and/or a downloadable patch, or is the only way to update is to uninstall and install?

It's already available via LiveUpdate and here:

On all of my servers, SSR 2011 isn't listed as "installed on my computer". LiveUpdate simply does not recognize it.

Two exceptions, however - the first is a Windows Server 2003 R2 32Bit Standard Edition, the second is my Desktop (Windows 7 64Bit SP1 Enterprise Edition, Trial Version), which succesfully recognized and installed SP1.

Known issue?

EDIT: this issue affects all 2008R2 servers. 2003 servers are downloading the update succesfully.

Do you have any other Symantec products installed on your 2008 R2 servers?

Are any products listed in LiveUpdate on those servers?

Can you try this temporary workaround on one of your 2008 R2 servers?

LiveUpdate is only for unmanaged clients

All managed clients update when you update your server using Symantec Installation Manager
