I'm changing my boot drive from a traditional mechanical HD to a SSD. I plan on simply switching out the drives and then using my System Recovery Disk to Restore the most recent image to my new SSD. I assume that I have to restore both the hidden partition that Windows creates and the partition with the OS. I've never figured out if I'm supposed to restore the MBR too.
Should I restore the MBR that came from a mechanical HD to a fresh new SSD?
