Restricted Option for Remote installation.

when you installed BE SR from CD it gives full options and console but when we deployed BESR agent remotely to other machine it has only appear in taskbar with very few options like view,cancel jobs.

So if user wants to recover any drive or file from that machine he/she can't do so because there is no option for that if agent is deployed/installed remotely.

Please advise how to fix this.

Hello,

When you deploy the BESR agent using the "standard" console, it only deploys the core agent for remote management purposes.  This is by design.

If you want the full product on the system you are remotely managing, you will need to install the full product locally on that box.

Additional options are avaliable if you purchase the BESRM (Backup Exec System Recovery Manager) 7.0 product.
