SSR 2013 Trial Installation Failing - Says "loading..." then closes

Love Ghost but now have Win8.

Trying to see if I can use this instead of Acronis True Image but it's failing on install.

Browse to the installation disk or folder. Locate browser.exe, right-mouse click, and choose to run as Administrator. See if that makes a difference.

Nope...didn't work either.   Progress bar only moves a little then the window closes...

Does the installer simply disappear with no errors? Does the following folder get created: C:\ProgramData\Symantec\SYMANTEC SYSTEM RECOVERY\LOGS?
