Running in a domain environment. I have the following issue on some computers (Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7). I deploy Symantec System Recovery 2011 agent via console on a computer also connected to the Domain. The deployment works perfect and I also enter the Administrator details and password when prompt. After rebooting the user computer and try to reconnect from the console it prompts again for the password which I enter correctly but still no luck? I tried to uninstall everything even the deployment 'server' side, but with no luck. Other computers don't have this issue of prompting for passwords and username. (Also the same domain? Any ideas?

maybe a firewall or DCOM issue ?

I tried these steps already. No luck. I was hoping the dcom guide will be solving the issue, but nothing

Are you using local users or domain users when installing SSR ?

I'm logged in as domain Administrator at both sides.
