Symantec System recovery hierarchy

jinxnbu
Level 5

Does SSR have a server - client hierarchy like in NBU or BE ?

My understanding is that we install SSR on a SERVER A and it will backup SERVER A and so on.

Is there a central system from which i can manage if i have 50 servers using SSR.

Thanks in advance

There is no hierarchy as such. Server 'A' does not backup server 'B' etc.

You can use the Management Solution (free product) to manage your 50 servers. Details here:
