System Recovery 2011Unable to determive status

Hello.

I have installed Symantec System recovery 2011 on a Windows Server 2003 and when i open the application it cannot detect the local disk.

I get the followinf error:

-Error E1AD27F0: Cannot determine protection.
--Cannot obtain available drive letters.

I have attached the partinfo file.

The partinfo shows a C:\ drive only. Can you verify this matches the Windows Disk Management?

Yes this is right, i have only one drive.

Look through some of those technotes. Also, ensure that the SYMANTEC SYSTEM RECOVERY and SYMSNAP services are started and running.

I can confirm that SYMANTEC SYSTEM RECOVERY and SYMSNAP are running properly and i checked the first 2 of 3 technotes, the third says about an error which is different from this i get. I forgot to tell you that before i install BESR 2011, 2013 version was installed. Of course i uninstalled 2013 before 2011 installation.

I suggest you to run the repair of the application from the add/remove programs and reboot the server.
