What are the equivalent BESR tools for BESR'ing Linux machines ?

Hello-

I was just shown BESR from one of our systems ppl yesterday and was amazed with the product. I manage Redhat linux machines and want to be able to use BESR to image them. I was advised that there is no version of BESR for Linux.

Can someone please clarify if this is the case and if so what are my options using Symantec products as we already have Backup Exec 11d to backup our Windows and Linux machines.

The goal is standardization and I don't want to move off of Symantec.

thanks all-
Mark

You were advised correctly; currently there is not a version of BESR that will run on a Linux OS. If you have not already considered the Symantec Ghost product, since it does image EXT 2 and EXT 3 file systems, consider then to use the HELP > Send Feed back option or the Symantec Product Enhancement site located here: http://engweb.symantec.com/enhancement/
