While saving new Dell Workstation with Livestate R. V.6.0 following message

you can save this workstation but you cannot restore with booting CD-ROM cause you have no network driver to boot with on CD for this new workstation -

The new workstation was built by Dell, its a Precision 390 Workstation with new broadcom controller.

Now what to do ? Our company has no maintenance contract with Symantec.

Hi Achim,

You can not restore from network (if you image is saved somewhere on network), but you can restore from USB HDD for example, or DVD.

Do you use 6.0.2 version or 6.0?

Hi Vladimir,
we use 6.0 and still want to restore from network if necessary. So is the only way to do it buying newer version of Symantec Backup Exec ?

Download the appropriate driver, and email it to NIC_DRIVERS@SYMANTEC.COM and explain you need a new ISO for LSR 6 and please include the driver you attached.
