Is the hardware the same? Specifically the motherboard? If not, I have done something similar with differing motherboards with Ghost and it should work for you too. Install the image to the new server. Boot up, if it blue screens, you must perform an "In place upgrade" or "Refresh Install". This procedure is documented on microsoft.com, but basically you perform a re-install of your OS w/o losing most of your configuration. It works fairly well.
The other option is to have the server re-identify all of the components by replacing the HAL. I am investigating this solution, but BESR 7.0 is supposed to do that in the process of recovering the image.
Most likely you'll have to re-register the OS with Microsoft, so be prepared for all of that too.
