Hello, All,

I'm getting this error when trying to configure SSR 2011 on Windows Server 2012:

"you do not have sufficient privileges error e1ad3212"

And I'm getting this error in the Event Viewer:

- System

      [ Name] Application Error

I have been through the forums and found this:

http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/ssr2011-cant-configure-backup-error-e1ad3212-you-do-not-have-...

And I have done everything in this post to fix the problem (including manually registering the dll), but nothing has worked.

In addition to those efforts, I also have downloaded the software again and uninstall/reinstalled the product. I've tried repair installs, also.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Shawn Lewis

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

I think you need to run SSR 2013 for Server 2012, SSR 2011 is not supported.  -->http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH157280

That is correct. Here is the 2013 version of the above article.: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH201318
