Is there a way to change the default setting in Archive Explorer from HTML to Outlook? I know this can be changed manually by going through settings from the local desktop but would rather this be changed for all through admin console, GP or Reg Hack...

Question - we're using EV 7.5 (no SP) and wanted to know if we should go to SP4 or consider just going to EV 8.0? Any thoughts?

I am trying to configure a locator task on a new server we've built out. When I try to add this new task the locater task option is greyed out. I've run the deplyment scanner prior to install Vault 2007 and saw no errors when running the install late...

Ok, so what if our clients are using 2003? We're also currently using Exchange 2003 so I am just trying to get "an official" ruling on going to SP4 vs. a full version upgrade from 7.5 to 8.0. Thanks!

Thanks for the good advice. Maybe we'll just go with SP4 for now and wait on the 8.0. upgrade. We're in the midst of a Exchange 2003 to 2007 upgrade right now and don't need any more screws thrown in. Appreciate!

Great - Thanks for the help! I assume it's either/or on the Server requirement because we are running 2003 SP2 but not on 08' yet.

I've been trying to find out the prereq for going to 8.0 but no luck thus far. Thanks for the info!

That wasn't what I was told by a Symnatec rep prior to setting this up. He said you could have multiple locators within a site.
