Yes I have updated BE to 2010R3 when I installed the program. Why turn off AOFO? Just asking I will try it as nothing else I have tried worked. Ok did a search and found out why to turn off AOFO. Hmm need to redo a couple backup jobs.

Yes did all that. No network errors, vss does start and the writers show no errors. Not sure what is going on at this point. Maybe a reinstall of BE?
