hi, we are currently looking at a new setup, preferably on solaris. it will be a lot easier to put forward a business case for solaris on intel platform as opposed to sparc. i am curious if anyone out there has any experience with nbu on solaris x86....

trying to work out whether to give this a test or not. We get super throughput when going through a SUN box (SPARC) as a media server. I was wondering how an Intel box would perform with Solaris 64 bit. Any ideas guys?

These logs are killing the Master Server and causing the EMM database to crash. I've just cleared some space, but now I need to purge these logs. Is it safe to purge some of these logs (the oldest ones in the directory) or even compress them? thanks....
