Hello all, Have anyone know whether coming SP2 of BE 2012 will support VMware Data restored by SAN transport mode? This is the missing important feature for restore in case of enterprise environment. Hope anyone feedback. Thanks.

You means that vmware data restored by nbd or hotadd only no San transport mode provided even if upgrading to be 2012 sp2 in the future. Is it correct?

No clear comment upon this feature. Can you reply me whether this feature will be released or still disabled? Clearly answer ok. This will lose any existing BE customers or potential customers.

Full VM image restore over NBD from LTO4 is very slow for around 500GB VM. It works in theory only!
