I can't backup \\server\share as the target is Netapp Filer 3050c and 9.1 doesn't have support for NDMP.take a look at this, this is where I got the initial idea and it works on one of my servers w/o any issues http://www.coofercat.com/node/304

I'm getting about 1.9GB/min per drive, which seem to be almost the max thruput for SDLT II uncompressed.However I'm getting a lot of SOFT WRITE ERRORS about 300000 per 350GB written.

delete the drives within the library first, then delete library option will be available
