Yes, we have tried to reconfigure it and to reinstall it. No change. However, I am now running a reconfigure of the database since it appears the database did not get updated during the upgrade. I have a case open with Symantec.
I totally disagree and I would not recommened replacing BE with BESR. BESR is good for your OS drive, but that's about it. Other drives become too large and backup take much, much too long.

I am already running SP2. However, you can't just install it from the installation manager because it will reinstall the entire server. You will break everything. I did this as well and it was a bit of work to get it all back and working properly....
