10d Upgrade from 9.1

I am gettting 3 error messages when upgrading one particular server form BE9.1 for Windows server to 10d: 1:1305 2: path of install.msi 3: 1008. I am an admin on the box and have copied the install program to different locations on the server.

I have successfully upgraded about 12 servers but this one will not. Server is identical to 5 others that upgraded without issue.

Any suggestions?

With what error the upgrade is failing ?


Can you please check for first "return value 3" error in bkupinst.log ?

If you find, kindly mention that part of the log.

I fixed the problem in an unusual way, I gave the Veritas directory everyone rights, which allowed the upgrade to complete. The Veritas directory did have domain admin rights which I am in the list???
