12.0 linux agent question/issues

i am having issues with installing linux agents. i am finding that i prefer the agent we used under 11d to be better for distro support. many of our client prefer to use ubuntu linux. has any one gottent the 12.0 ralus agents to work under ubuntu and if so how did you get it to work ?

also the one agant i was able to install to RHEL was unable to publish itself to the media server - so back ups for linux still do not work. a PS -aux | grep ralus shows the agent script is running. how do i get it to publish to the media server?

those were the install directions i followed to install the ralus agent and still cannot get it to work. the ubuntu page looks very helpful but i win't get a chance to test it for at least 48 hours. thank you for getting for your help.

i tried to get linux agents installed. but in the end i had no luck in getting them to work. 4 of the servers are running ubuntu - get an *.so issue. the other is a red hat 7 server - everything looks like it installed but the agent cannot publish to the media server. a ps reveals that the agent script is running and i cannot find any issues in the logs i looked through. i am open to suggestion if any one has any ?
