After Upgrading to Backup Exec 15 Error "0xe00002f7 -4001 A read was issued to a location beyond the EOF

Hi to all,

yesterday I have upgrade Backup exec from 2012 to 2015 version.

Everything seems to go well but this morning i have found this error on the Exchange 2013 Server Backup Job(Incremental):

V-79-57344-759 - Unable to complete the operation.  The following error was returned when opening the Exchange Database file:  '-4001 A read was issued to a location beyond the EOF (writes will expand the file). '

I have tried to modify the registry following this article

but it didn't work for me.

what could be the issue?

The service pack you suggested with the link refers to BE 2012. I have Upgraded yesterday to Be 15.

Did you do a full backup after upgrading to BE 15?

The Full backup is working now...I'll update you as soon as it's complete

If you still have problems, then change the OnHostTemp location and recreate your job
