When you buy the hypervisor agent licence, you would be able to backup the VM image and restore the image. You can also restore individual files/folders from this VM image backup.
However, if you need to restore individual items for applications like Exchange, SQL databases, then you would also need to buy one Agent for Applications and Databases licence for each application/database in each machine.

The Vray agent allows you to protect an unlimited amount of VMs, and includes the ability to protect as many VMs with DBs (Exchange and SQL for example!) as you have on your network. It doesn't include the RAWS agent which is required to do file-level backups and application GRT and these would need to be purchased separately.

Thank you one last thing do we need to purchase system recovery in case if we need to restore the VM on new server?
