Hi,

If I have 1 backup server and 20 other Windows servers, 2 of which are running Exchange and 2 running SQL, would I be correct in saying the following?

I will need 20 Windows Server agents, 2 Exchange agents, and 2 SQL agents. The Backup server where Backup Exec is installed carries a Windows Server agent for itself.

You get one remote agent license ,when you purchase Exchange or SQL license . So if you have exchange and Sql in seprate servers. you would require
1 base license Backup exec for windows
2 exchange license
2 Sql license
16 remote agent for windows License.
