Agent upgrade questions.

We are installing a new BEWS 12.5 backup server to replace an old BEWS 10d server. I have several questions regarding the Remote agent installs.

 1) Can the 12.5 remote agent be pushed directly to a server which already has a 10d agent? Does the 10d agent have to be uninstalled first?

2) After pushing the 12.5 agent, will the remote server need to be rebooted?

3) I also want to push the 12.5 AOFO agent. Will the remote server need rebooting after the push? Where can I check on the remote server to see that the AOFO agent has been installed? I pushed AOFO to a test server but can't seem to determine that it has been installed.

1)  Yes, you can just push the new agent through the remote install wizard and it will upgrade as necessary.

2)  Yes, a reboot will be required on any machine that you've just pushed the agent to.

3)  AOFO can be installed at the same time as the remote agent, so you'll only need one reboot for both.
