An internal error (-536837662) occurred in object 11

I have succesfully installed BacupExec 10d ( The Product version is 10.1.5629 ) on Windows 2000 Adv. server with SP4 but the backup exec server doesn't start.

I get below message in windows event viewer application.

Event ID : 57802
The Backup Exec Server Service did not start.
An internal error (-536837662) occurred in object 11

I have checked the documents 253604, 277214 from Veritas knowledge base and also
I have investigated veritas forum threads but none of them were useful.

My server regional settings are English(US).

I had installed veritas with using current MS SQL 2000 SP4 on Wİndows 2000 server. To get rid of the Event ID 57802, I removed the software and reinstaled with using MSDE. But result didn't change, I'm still continue to get the same message ( Event ID : 57802 ) and backup exec service doesn't start.

Thank you for assistance and any help

Best Regards

I have checked the Veritas document 190979 and run SGMON utility.
I saw following lines in log file ;

The problem has been solved.

I did following actions ;

- Removed software
- Go control panel / Reginal Settings
- press default button and change it from Turkish to English(US)
- Reinstall BackupExec

Therefore to change default locale of system from Turkish to English is the solution.
