Hello All

I am using RDX 320gig Media, backing up is ok, however I cannot allocate media to My created media set, as the option along with a few other options like scratch and retire are greyed out.

So when I right click my media, all i see is creeate medai and Vault set and details, everything else is greyed out

Also my media has automatically associated itself with the system created media set of backup exec and windows NT backup set

I have BU Exec 2012

version 14.0

Revision 1798 (64 Bit)

Any help would be gratefully received

Sandra

This actually the default behaviour. Is there any perticular reason that you want to associate the the RDX media to a pertiular media set?

Reason to want to move the media set to one I've created is so that I can manage the overwrite etc Amolzerocool , yes I found that article and had rather hoped there was a solution by now, thank you guys for your comments, much appreciated Sandra
