B2D command. ReadFMTable() CreateFile failed

Since a few days I get the following message in the event viewer of W2K3.

An error occurred while processing a B2D command.

Drive: ReadFMTable() CreateFile failed (D:\Backup-to-Disk\Devices\HDBckpFiorentina\B2D003741.bkf). Error=2

But the Backup seems ok. What is this problem ? What causes this problem ?

Hi Jan,

I'm having the same problem as you w/BUE 10.0 on SBS 2003.  I had moved the previous 2 backups and the error is pointing at them, not the most recent backup.

There was a potential fix listed here: https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=103&message.id=26172&query.id=4087#M26172

but it doesn't seem to work for all users.
