BE 12.5 Small Business on Server 2008 Standard with Exchange 2007?

Hi everyone,

My question is can i install BE 12.5 Small Business on Server 2008 Standard with Exchange 2007?
All the sites i find say Small Business edition is for SBS but its alot cheaper than BE and then Exchange agent?

Dan,

There is a definite price advantage to going the BESB (Small Business) route, but you will be limited in terms of scalability and certain feature sets. However, it does look like you will be able to protect Exchange on your 08 server with BESB, per backupexec.com.

Can anyone confirm being able to install BE 12.5 for Small Business Server on a non Small Business Server?
for example, Server 2008 Standard?

In the past BE SBS would only install on an SBS machine

Just checked and
