BE 12.5 does not see Library (i2000)

I have an ADIC i2000 with 9 tape drives. BE sees the 9 drives but no library. the library is in device manager under medium changer as an unknown medium changer. what do i need to do to get BE to see it? Greg

Check if the option to enable robotic library support is selected from tools --serail key and agent installation...
run the device configuaration wizard and see if allows you to drag your drives under the robotic library..
make sure you have library expansion license installed  ...if you just have a robotic library with 9 drives connected to the server then you need 8 LEO license to be installed

Robotic library is support is selected. i have 8 LEO's.

BE does not see the library at all so i can not drag the drives to it.

i am stuck.

Is the medium changer Detected in the Device manger ?

in the i2000 console, look in the LUN mapping tool to make sure the robot is mapped to the server.  I assume it is, since you see it in Windows device manager, but maybe it is only "partly" communicating and BE cannot talk to it properly
